Orelmy Diaz is an immigration attorney at the law firm Perdomo & Dorsett, focusing on family immigration and humanitarian cases. She began her legal career representing victims of catastrophic injuries and medical malpractice. Her path in immigration law started at CUNY Citizenship Now!, the largest university-based immigration legal services program in the country, where she served as a supervising attorney. She has also worked as a legal consultant for various nonprofit organizations nationwide, helping expand access to immigration services for vulnerable communities.
Orelmy brings a unique perspective based on her own story. Having lived as an undocumented immigrant in the United States, she knows firsthand the fears, obstacles, and hopes that immigrant families face. As a mother and native Spanish speaker, she offers empathetic, culturally aware, and human legal representation.
